OQI showcases quantum for global good on Léman Bleu TV’s Cosmopolis

Martin Gastal, Partnerships and Engagement and Capacity Building Lead at OQI, joined the most recent episode of Cosmopolis on Léman Bleu TV, on the theme of science for good.

Alongside Marilyne Andersen (Director General, GESDA – Geneva Science and Diplomacy Anticipator), Ana Luiza Thompson Flores (Director, UNESCO Geneva Liaison Office and Enrico Chesta (CERN), he shared OQI’s multilateral efforts towards ensuring that quantum computing is developed inclusively and equitably. Discussions during the episode explored key questions such as: is science a common global good? And how can we protect it?

Martin also presented how OQI’s use cases are contributing to tackle global challenges aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (#SDGs), and emphasised the role of international collaboration and open science in making sure that emerging technologies, such as quantum computing, benefit everyone, not just a few.

A big thank you to Marie-Gabrielle Cajoly and Léman Bleu TV for the invitation and the collaboration!
