Educational Tools
Educational tools help to enable everyone around the world to contribute to the development of quantum computing and make the most of the technology. As OQI works to develop quantum computing applications for the benefit of humanity, the focus is on the utilisation of software and algorithms rather than on the development of hardware.
OQI invites institutions to submit their educational resources to be shared here, to leverage existing content and help build a repository of resources. The repository includes different types of education opportunities focused on quantum computing, contributed by OQI-verified educational providers around the world.
OQI Use Case Teams: Educational Module

In collaboration with Algorithmiq and OQI, QPlayLearn has developed an interactive e-learning course designed as a starting point for developing responsible and impactful quantum computing use cases that can benefit humanity.
This module introduces OQI’s quantum computing use case teams, offering insights into the OQI use case pipeline, as well as the development process, why it matters and how you can get involved. It features guided lessons alongside interactive exercises and games that walk you through the process of how to build an SDG-focused use case to address a real-world challenge, outlining OQI’s methodology for developing use cases from ideation to proof of concept and opportunities for how people can get involved.
This course is not only limited to experts wanting to join an OQI use case – it’s for anyone curious about the use cases we are developing at OQI. Participants of OQI-supported hackathons may also be interested in completing this course, to explore how they can continue working on their projects beyond the end of the hackathon.
